For infants, on Sundays by appointment or anytime in an emergency. A home study book is provided for parents. If parents are not married they must present a birth certificate with the parents name on it. You will need at least one sponsor who is a Catholic in good standing. A Christian in good standing in another Christian denomination may serve as the other witness. Sponsorship papers are required. If there is a problem in obtaining a sponsor paper, parents may speak to Fr. Mike about it. For unbaptized children of school age, we provide the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children, which includes individual formation and the celebration of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation in a single ceremony.
For unbaptized adults, we provide the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, which includes individual formation, and the celebration of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation in a single ceremony (usually at Easter). |
