Our members are dealing with all types of issues - their young or adult children who were raised in Christian homes and brought up with the admonition of the Lord. Today, most of these "prodigals" have walked away from the faith they either once embraced, or their parents do. These prodigals are living lives contrary to the Word of God - lives plagued with sin relating to drugs, alcohol, chemical dependence, sexual immorality, codependence issues, and all other types of sin. Parents, family members and friends are heartbroken that the individual they love so much is living a life so contrary to how they were once raised. Yet we know that "all things are possible" through Jesus Christ! We know through a personal relationship with the Lord, hearts and lives CAN and DO change -- no matter the circumstance or situation! We have personally seen many "prodigals" COME HOME and walk away from the sinful lives they once led! Without question, we have seen many miracles here at TheParentsGroup.com!

Why do I have such a passion for parents with a "prodigal" child? Because I was one myself . I put my parents, family members and my friends through a living hell for many years.
That all changed in 1992 when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and was born again . I heard the gospel years earlier, was convicted in my heart of sinful issues in my life -- homosexuality, alcohol and drug addiction, bulimia and more. After much soul-searching, I simply believed God's Word, repented of my sin and asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. My life began to change in ways that to this day, still amazes me. And it had nothing to do with me -- it had everything to do with Jesus Christ!
Today, as a husband and father of two, we have dedicated our lives as a family -- along with so many other individuals and families here -- to help those who are in desperate need of help, support, biblical truth and encouragement -- other individuals just like you. We have been in ministry for over a decade, helping all types of individuals see their need for Jesus Christ, and the new life He alone can bring.
TheParentsGroup.com NEW website has two components to it: a public area for everyone to freely enjoy, and a private, members only area , which is made available to those who wish for a nominal, monthly fee. This website, applications, components and community will be fully functional as of January 1, 2010. So please check back then. WE have many exciting things planned for all of our current TPG Community Members, and those who will be coming aboard!
