These prodigals are young or adult individuals who were raised in Christian homes and brought up with the admonition of the Lord. Today, these prodigals have walked away from the faith they either once claimed to have embraced, or their parents do. These prodigals are habitually living lives contrary to the Word of God - lives plagued with sin and strife possibly relating to drugs, alcohol, chemical dependence, sexual immorality, codependence issues or any other types of sin. 

Parents, spouses, family members and friends such as yourself are heartbroken and devastated that the individual they love so much is living a life so contrary to how they were once raised.

Don't let our name fool you. This ministry is NOT just for parents. It is for anyone who is praying for a "prodigal" -- a family member, a spouse, a loved one, a friend, a co-worker. Our very special Community is also for pastors, clergy, clinical professionals, as well as men and women who have strayed away from Christ themselves.

Why do I have such a passion for parents with a "prodigal" child? Because I was a prodigal myself. I put my parents, family members and friends through a living hell for many years. That all changed though in 1992 when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and was born again. I heard the gospel years earlier and was convicted in my heart of sinful issues in my life -- homosexuality, alcoholism, drug addiction, bulimia and more. After much soul-searching, I simply believed God's Word, repented of and confessed all my sin and asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. I also dealt with all of my root issues that caused me to make the poor choices that I did. My life then began to change in ways that to this day, still amazes me! And it had nothing to do with me -- it had everything to do with Jesus Christ!

Today, as a husband and father of two, we have dedicated our lives as a family -- along with so many other individuals and families here -- to help those who are in desperate need of help, support, biblical truth and encouragement -- individuals just like you. We have been in ministry for over a decade, helping all types of individuals see their need for Jesus Christ, and the new life He alone can bring!
