The Soul of BuzZen
Thursday, October 2nd @ 11:44 AM
As I was working with my business coach this week she asked me to do an exercise with her in which we tapped into the soul of my business. I have never thought of businesses having souls before, but I was intrigued by the concept.
I closed my eyes and asked to see and feel the soul of BuzZen. What did it look like and feel like? Where was it, and what was its mission?
As I sat there quietly waiting for an answer a clear feeling emerged that instantly stirred emotion in me and inspired me with its power. It once again clarified for me BuzZen's message to bring to women:
The soul of BuzZen is to empower women and then connect them with one another to magnify that power which will raise the consciousness level of the planet.
I love watching women reclaim who they were meant to be. To step into their greatness and take a stand for the light they bring to the world.
There’s no doubt our planet could use some consciousness raising. The male energy that has dominated our world for so long has caused such turmoil and suffering. The wars and fighting, greed, competition and quest for power have created some very difficult circumstances.
As I’ve watched bits and pieces of the news of the seeming decline of the economy and the unethical decisions and business deals that have been at its root, I have found myself itching for the change that must come. The world is ready for an awakening. A softening. An enlightening. A bringing about of feminine energy that will heal what is broken and birth a new age. It’s an exciting time to be a woman!
Forbes recently put out their list of the Top 10 World’s Most Powerful Women. It was great to see these successful women who were selected because of the amount of money they control, the scope of the influence their decisions have on large numbers of people, and how well known they are in the world. Their credentials are impressive and I am proud to see them recognized.
It also caused me to think about the scores of “powerful” women who are making changes, who are sacrificing for the greater good, easing suffering for others, and standing for causes that need champions. There are many of them worth mentioning because they serve as an inspiration, as signposts and as reminders to us of what we are all capable of. These women are just like you. They have a vision, they take action, and they do what needs to be done. They cause mountains to move and where there is no way… they make one.
Close your eyes now and tap into the soul of your 8 year old self. A time when you knew you were brilliant. You were curious about the world and confident in your ability to ask for what you wanted. You believed you could be, do, or have anything … and the possibilities were breathtaking!
You still have the ability to bring that soul forward into your current life. You can make the choice now to live up to your 8 year old standards. You are more than you have become, but you are beginning to remember who you were meant to be. Stay the course and bring your best self forward into this process and into this life. You are in the perfect place to nurture your emerging confidence and strength. Allow the BuzZen movement to become your way of life. Not just something you try or a class you take, but a way of being from this day forward. We aren’t playing small. We’re about big time transformation on this planet and we want you to stand with us. When we step into our own power and then gather in groups to amplify that energy, we women are major forces of change and creation.
Eckhart Tolle speaks eloquently about the power of women in his book, A New Earth. He says, “ If the balance between male and female energies had not been destroyed on our planet, the ego's growth would have been greatly curtailed. We would not have declared war on nature, and we would not be so completely alienated from our Being.
But things are changing rapidly now. With many people becoming more conscious, the ego is losing its hold on the human mind. Because the ego was never as deeply rooted in woman, it is losing its hold on women more quickly than on men."
So that’s great news! As we are working hard to tame our funky monkeys and separate ourselves from our egos, we are leading the way for the men we love to do the same. Because we are more suited to the task, it is up to us to lead the charge. This work is so important. Not just for our personal happiness, peacefulness, and success but for the health and future of our planet. We actually control the possibilities for our children to live lives free from fear, of powerful creation, and with great hope and connection. If we don’t do it, who will?
So let’s talk about some of those powerful women that are leading us down this path.
Jenny McCarthy started the ripple in her own pond when she refused to accept her son’s diagnosis of autism and instead dedicated herself to finding a way to cure him. Once she accomplished that (yes, CURING her child of a disease that was thought to be INCURABLE), she kept her promise to God and became a vocal advocate for preventing autism and helping other mothers find paths to heal their children as well.
She is bringing awareness to the possible causes of this growing condition and bringing hope and validation to millions of mothers as well. Brilliant!
Mia Farrow is doing it in a quiet, but BIG way. She recently took on the Olympics as a political statement against China’s support of the Sudanese government and the genocide in Darfur. She created a whole campaign that invited people to switch to a website during every commercial of the Olympics to watch her reporting live from Darfur.
She is a courageous women who is putting her body where her mouth is. She is a single mother of (I think) 13 children, and she is in one of the most dangerous places on the planet in order to save people who have lost everything.
She is a stand for children without schools or parents, women who’ve lost their homes and who cannot even gather firewood with being raped by the janjaweed militia.
She is using her life to say wake up, come with me. We can fix this. I won’t settle for less.
How about Susan Solomon - a co-chair of the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). She not only determined the cause of our depleting ozone layer, but she took the battle to stop it all the way to Capitol Hill. She was instrumental in producing the report that has helped the world to grasp how serious the global warming issue is.
She also was on the team (along with Al Gore!) that won the Nobel Peace prize in 2007.
Saving the world - now that’s power!
Aung San Suu Kyi - Is 62 years old and has been held under arrest for 12 years in Burma. She’s a courageous human rights advocate for and is the world’s only imprisoned Nobel Peace Prize recipient. Her power inspires the people of Burma and anyone who has had to fight for what they believe in. She stands for ending the historic trend of violent resistance to the government and is a beacon of compassionate, intelligent peaceful resistance.
Of course you don’t have to be famous to change the world. We just happen to know about these women because they are famous. There are tens of thousands of women volunteering, contributing, leading, creating, and enlightening all across our world. Tonight I call you to action to join them. To join us! Make the decision to never go back to complacency and small living. You are listening to this call for a reason. The times they are a changin’ and you are the perfect person to start your own ripple in the water.
We look forward to continuing to provide you the tools to strengthen your mind, step into your greatness, and connect you with other women who will stand with you on your journey. We are so grateful to have women like you on the path with us.
We look forward to more BuzZen… with YOU!
