Q. Does the demo team work for Toastmasters, or somehow get paid?

A. Toastmasters only has about 55 employees--the other 80,000 positions are all volunteer, including the demo team. Those members of the demo team enjoy the reward of sharing the benefit of Toastmasters with others (and sometimes we get a free lunch!).
