Q. I'm VP Membership for the 3rd year in a row. Do I still have to go to training?

A. Yes. Toastmasters International requires officers to be trained for their roles to receive credit for the DCP program. However, if you had a good experience in prior years and look forward to volunteering again, why not ask the Lt Gov of Education & Training if you can help put the training together and/or present. Your participation and experiences are appreciated by the new officers. You'll get DCP credit for your club and help others get off to a good start.
Another option the district is looking at is a "Veteran Officer Training" module. This is only in the planning stages at this time. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
