Welcome to our FAQ section.  Please take a moment to become familiar with the items listed.

Q - Can non-family members join this group?
A - Yes - professionals who in some fashion provide services to children with special needs may join, however their access to information such as discussion boards and reviews will be limited as our families need a safe haven to discuss issues and providers.  We invite them to create blogs and upload video presentations which would benefit our families.

Q - Does membership cost anything?
A - No membership is free of charge to those who qualify.  There are a number of opportunities for professional members to support us through advertising and sponsorships and this keep this services free to families who are many times very cash-strapped.

Q - Are members allowed to share their home-based-business offerings here or at meetings?
A - We haven't had positive experience with this so far.  A number of MLM/CDM (Multi-Level Marketing/Consumer Direct Marketing) reps have tried to gain access to promoting their products to our members and not only have they not been very up-front with what company they represent, but none of them so far have been able to, for example, certify that their consumables are gluten/casein free nor cross-contaminated.  If you are a parent/grandparent of a child with special needs, you are welcome to include this on your Member web page, however we ask that you actually state the name of the company, not just the "endless income".  Many of these companies actually have very good products and must be willing to be honest with who they are.  This group is a resource for families and is not a place to strike it rich so please respect that.  If you wish to advertise with us online, in our newsletter or at our conference, please contact us for details.
