Here's my Sermon on the 23rd Psalm
thats a differnt take on psalm 23 I thought it was a happy sermon, but not so.
I like the word pictures that this sermon creates. I particularly relate to the idea of being stuck in the middle of a personal battle that feels terminal. While in the midst of struggle and despair I have always been fortunate to have a wise figure advise that everything is going to be ok. At the time it really doesn't feel that way but hindsight has always allowed me to recognize that the Lord has faithfully lead me through danger to once again rest at his side. It is really up to us to drive that stake into the ground, the stake of faith that stands to mark our trust in God.
