You reader may wonder if this is a true story. It is, sort of for it is based on the visit of an opossum who lived under the back porch of my friend Christa's home in the Dominican area of San Rafael, CA USA (north of San Francisco). Written as much as 15 years ago or more, it's been revised a few times--in fact many, by aspiring poet Peter Menkin. Peter reads the Children's Story here.

Painting Radiant Light by monk Father Arthur who lives and works at Incarnation Monastery, Berkeley, CA USA. Father Arthur is a Camaldoli Benedictine.
