I have been painting for 3 years, my teacher is Fiona Bilbrough. This work was created in her inspiring studio and under her guidance. It is an oil painting on canvas, mounted on a timber frame

The woman in the painting is Leila Khaled, a young Palestinian student who was named by her father after the Palestinian Freedom Fighter of the same name. A very brave woman in those days of the PLO.

I am donating this to raise Funds for the Australian Flotilla being planned for early next year.

It is 55cm High X 46cm Wide.

The mesmerising eyes along with the story and meaning behind it's creation would make it an outstanding addition to any location.
