O'Reilly is a member of the Catholic Workers Movement, best known for his radical anti-war protests. O'Reilly has broken into major military installations around the world to stage protests and disable military equipment. He has served time in prison in various countries for his activities but was acquitted from his most recent action in Ireland, where the court seemed to agree that an act of protest against the war in Iraq was a worthwhile act of law-breaking!
