He took the Child in His arms 
"And he took a little child, and set him in the midst of them: and taking him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. " (Mark 9:36-37) Perhaps the most remarkable thing about Jesus and His relationship with children is simply the fact that He always seemed to have them around about Him! Ironicaly, in this story we find Jesus trying to have some quiet time with His disciples, and yet there always seems to be a child within reach! And not only does Jesus here welcome the child. He identifies Himself with children in their vulnerability!
