The Order of the Fighting Fathers

As today's passage tells us about the origins of Jesus, it is worthwhile to focus on how the nature of Christ, being both God and man, is central to our Christian beliefs and the key to understanding our relationship not only with God, but with each other in the Holy Spirit.

For it is through the earthly life, suffering, and even death of Jesus, that all of our own human experiences are closely connected with God Himself.
