Congratulations to Fighting Father Alan Lonergan, who decided to find out for himself what was really going on in Syria.

Alan took the initiative of dialing the offices of the Catholic Diocese of Homs and asking them what was going on. He was directed to Mother Agnes Mariam de la Croix - a magnificent Christian woman who has been caring for victims on both sides of the conflict (read more about her here).

Agnes warns that Christians were about to be expelled from her city by the rebel army. Unfortunately that has already happened since this interview took place (read more here).
