 I was born to Burk-Elder: Hale, Second and Leona-Catherine: Mayes-Hale on October fourth, in the Year of Our Lord one-thousand-nine-hundred-fifty-five, in the city of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia which was originally known as Hargrave, Georgia, named after my great-great-grand-father William: Hargrave. Both my parents are of Scottish descent.
