Anything you can do with link building on a website you can do on your iGrOOp. Google "link building techniques" -- you should get some good ideas.

Thanks for the tip Bo.

BUT could you please 'walk-me' thru the mechanics of how to set this up within my igroops site please.

I'm a bit 'slow' I guess.

Please explain what you are trying to accomplish. "Link building techniques" are very general and vauge. To put links on your iGrOOp, you create a custom admin webpage and just start adding links using the HTML editor.

We need to process all HTML/SCRIPT that runs through the text editor -- for security. So use of any kind of scripting is limited. But through iFrames, you can add anything to your custom webpages, including ads.

Thanks for the clarification Bo.

One last thing.

Has Igroops outlawed pop-ups/unders etc or do you guys provide a script at all?

Warmly Glen F

Pretty much outlawed. We are working on a script for our admins similar to the window that comes up once a month. While not technically a popup, can be used in the same way. No release date on that update however.

Once again Bo,

Thankyou for the clarification.

Another last & final Query Bo...

How available to the public can we make our iframe igroop pages Bo?

What am I trying to say?

As you said within this thread, we can do link building using the iframe section to design our pages.

However, if we do this, will those of the public wishing to access/view our links pages be asked to login OR can we make our uploaded pages available to jo-shmo?

Again please clarify.

Any custom page can be public or private, so it is up to you based on the settings you give the custom admin webpage.

Great stuff Bo. Thanks again.

Oh, BTW:

Will igroops be adding the availablity of a 'translation' 'plugin' for our igroops sites?

My prior igroops site used a great script to do this expanding my 230 page site presence to over 1350 google ranked pages.

Please advise.

Our international users use google translation and other 3rd party services that appear to be working well for them. If you know of a particular plugin, recommend it here and we will look at it.
