To sustain our membership site i'm looking at getting advertisers for the site.

I would like to know if there is a limit in the number of advertisers?

And if you can provide the sizes of the advertising for the webpage so that it will be easier for iGroops members to sell advertising packages.

Thank you.

An "advertiser" can have an ad pretty much anywhere custom HTML can be, as well as the offical "sponsor" ads, which there can be 25 of them. There are no set sizes since ads can appear anywhere.

Ferdinand: just to add to what Bo said, the specific size requirements for the iGrOOps "sponsor banner" feature are as follows:

[Banner ads] should be between 50-200px tall, and should be EXACTLY 622px wide (or 712px if using widelayout narrow column).

Darryl: can you be more specific? Are you referring to a URL for one a banner using the iGrOOps "sponsor banner" feature or something/somewhere else?

I am refering to the 25 sponser ads not working correct. every time I add the url with the banner the url ends up missing after a day and the banner stop working. I mean banner is still there but will not forward when clicked on. and the url is missing under the banner in the back office.

Darryl, I haven't been able to duplicate this problem. Looks like all your banners are currently working, except the one for Instant Sales System is set to go to an invalid URL. I have put several banners on a test site, and will watch it to see if the URLs eventually get deleted. Will let you know if I find anything out further. If you see this again, please try to recall the last change you made to the site prior to the banners not working.

Subject: RE: Advertisers - Banner Ad URLs disappear

How do I resolve this. I have 5 banner ads in the system. The ad and URL save just fine, and work initially, then - the urls mysteriously disappear and the banner doesn't go anywhere. I have had to replace them 3 times in a few days. What do I do? I am not getting any answers from customer support (on this and several other support requests). Any suggestions on who to contact/how I can get decent support? I love the iGrOOps platform, but help requests and phone calls are not getting responded to, it's very hit and miss, and not getting followed through to solutions to issues. I'm a paid member with a rapidly growing member base... this would be the best thing ever if the support were there.

Have you tried sending Private Message to Ryan? He is very accomodating when it comes to resolving issues in iGroops.

I had encoutered that problem once I tried to make adjustments on my web browser. I used to work on my mac safari. I switched to firefox. If it does not work try considering waiting for Ryan's reply.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Bong. I posted the requests to the 4 "iGrOOps team members" and Bo replied saying iGrOOps was sold 4 months ago and they are going through some changes and improvements. Hoping high quality support becomes an early priority! iGroops is an excellent platform, IMHO! That said, if it's not well supported, issues affect my members: ie: url going missing on the banners; and the "advertising opportunity" I promise them doesn't deliver, my service looks bad. It becomes a "domino effect".
