We've been only working on our new site for about two weeks and you all have put so many great things in this system!

We use Vimeo on a weekly basis and our previous site (which we are still using and will be closing to exchange for iGroops site in about a week). Vimeo has a fairly new embed code that allows for access for iphones and ipads using html5. I can embed vimeo using the new code as the widget, but we are not able to embed the new code in the basic html editors throughout the site. We have to use the "older" code which makes most of our videos inaccessible to iphone, ipads, etc.

Is there an update or improvement coming for WYSWG editors in order to embed html5 from Vimeo? Or am I missing something?

As of right now, the video embedd code will work in custom javascript/widget areas (as you pointed out), as well as in any posts on the forum or blog posts. The key w/ forum or blog posts is to click the HTML button on the editor, and paste the code. This is not unique to our site-- you should be able to do it on your site as well.
