In the blog application (and I think also in other applications that use categories, such as the forums, reviews...?) when you have the main page showing categories and blog titles, the formatting is very hard on the eyes.

The main problem is that there is not enough line space before each new category. Adding another whole line space would do wonders for readability.

Also, ideally the category names would be visually distinguished from the blog titles in some other way - with a larger font and/or a different color.

I have a lot of categories and a lot of blogs on my NJP site, and it looks very daunting as it is now. Any hope of implementing this simple change?

The folder icon serves as the visual queue between blog categories and blog titles. As mentioned in my other response, you might consider creating a custom admin webpage to set up an alternative blog index page, designed to your preferences.
