One of my co-administrators for www.yourbestboomerbiz.com is having trouble with the home page. On the front page of the site we have a survey posted. When she goes to the page inside the scroll box where the survey should appear is a portion of one of our custom pages--instead of the survey. She is using Firefox. When I look at the site in Firefox it looks fine.

Do you have any idea why that would happen? Is it a bug?

Thanks heaps

Donna

I see the survey monkey survey, in both IE and FF. What is the URL of the custom admin webpage your co-admin is seeing? Can you ask her to provide you a screenshot, so you can pass it along to us?

Did you previously have the page this member is seeing displayed in an iFrame on the homepage? Perhaps it is a caching issue w/ her browser...have her clear her cache (in FF, Tools > Clear Recent History > uncheck all boxes except Cache, and select "Clear Now"). Let me know if that does the trick.

Ryan, In answer to this question: Did you previously have the page this member is seeing displayed in an iFrame on the homepage? NO WE DID NOT.

Viki, has cleared all cache, history and cookies and she still sees the same thing.

Any other suggestions? We are concerned with sending the request to complete the survey if others will have the same experience.

Hi Donna,

We will continue to look further into this. In the meantime, could you please ask Viki to view the site on another browser (such as Internet Explorer), and let us know if the issue persist there, or if it seems to be isolated to FireFox for her? Thanks.

Donna, a few more things that could help us troubleshoot this:

  • Is she on a MAC or PC?
  • Exactly what steps did she use to clear the FF cache?
  • What kind of internet connection is she using? Is she at work or using a cell connection? Has she checked the site utilizing more than one type of internet connection? What kinds?
  • Finally, could she please supply us with a FULL screenshot, showing the URL in the address bar? It can be emailed to salesteam at igroops dot com

Thanks again!
