I have a lot of blogs on NJP - and I set most of them up myself, with the intention to open them up to members as guest bloggers. A few members also set up their own blogs.

The problem is, I think people are reluctant to post to the blogs or are confused about whether or not they're allowed to, because my name is there on every one and it looks like I "own" them all!

I'd really just like to show the name of the blog and the description and leave my name off (at least on the main blog page where it lists them all).

The blogs that members start for themselves should show their nicknames, however. So what I'd like is a checkbox in the global settings for each blog that says "Don't show blog creator" or something like that.

Please consider (quickly)! My blogs are scaring people away. :)

Thanks for the suggestion- it's a good idea. I would just point out though that the accepted concept of the "web log" (blog) is that there is a sole "author" or "owner" and people can comment, rate, share and interact with the blogger's posts.

I don't think your blogs are scary at all and would comment without question...

All that being said, the suggestion of opting not to display the Admin name is a good idea and allows for more flexibility to the blog application. Thanks for taking the time to suggest it!
