How do I edit the email notification that the administrator receives when a new member joins a group? I would like to capture specific information in the application and forward them in the new member email notification. |

I believe if you add custom fields to the membership application (Admin Settings > Addl Member Info), they will go in the email notification to the admin. While we do offer a way to customize the new member email notification, we don't have a way to "feed" that additional data in the application back to the member in the new member welcome email. |

For some reason the two custom fields that I added to the new memeber application did not show up on the new member email notification to the administrator. Can you confirm that custom fields should show up on that notification email, the fields that show up in the notification email seem to be hard coded and standard. |

My mistake-- you are correct. Custom fields do not show up in the email notification to administrators. Sorry for the confusion. |

Is this a feature that can be added? |

We may be able to add this at some point, but no immediate plans. I invite you to post to our Suggestions forum category so your suggestion will be on the record. Thanks. |

For some reason the Affiliate ID and the Tracking ID do not get included in the email notification to the administrator when a new member joins the group.
I signed up a new member under this affiliate link with tracking number :http://www.letsgobuddy.com/?admin07666+abc123 but neither the Affiliate or Tracking ID was included in the new member email notification. What am I doing wrong? |

Ryan,
Sorry for reposting, but I need a quick response to this issue.

The issue is not really with email notifications. If you look at the member profile you emailed me, the affiliate ID and tracking code are not in the profile. I just joined your site using a test profile for "JohanDonuts", and the affiliate ID and tracking code both carried through. Here's the link I used:

My guess is that the link used was not exactly correct, or that the btowser was not accepting cookies. |
