We want to have a particular set of videos (and matching document files) be accessable to ONLY a particular group of clients (for a price)... Those clients would also have access to everything else. They should also be allowed to have 2 additional (free) assistants who have the same access, and up to 6 they could pay for to have the same access.

We are worldwrestlingresource.com

We have (are) produced(ing) a "Practice Planner" for Youth Wrestling Clubs. We will sell Membership (or package it as a product/service/bennefit) to a Head Coach (or Club President) and allow him (and several of his assistants) to use the Videos and printed notes.

Currently, we have 3 levels of membership (in addition to Guests - limited access): Level 1 is "Introductory - See everything except the new Practice Planner (no Up-loading). Level 2 is "Advanced" - same as Introductory, plus Up-load 20 videos. Level 3 is "Exclusive - same as Level 1 plus 50 Up-loads AND Affilliate Status (they can earn $$ by signing new members).

COULD we eliminate "Advanced" and create a NEW Level with access to the NEW materials?

OR... would it be better to consider the "Practice Planner" as a PRODUCE in the OnLine Store... either as a "beneffit, or an "Application"?

This does not seem like a trivial problem, and the answere is not obvious to me. I don't know what to do.

Please help.

Thank you,

Michael J. Shuda

It sounds like what you want to do is change your current L2 settings to be the same as your current L3 level. Then redefine L3 as the new level.

You can limit number of uploads allowed by level under Admin Options for the Video/MP3 Gallery.

For the exclusive videos and docs, you can put a link on your homepage inviting L3 members to click for access to exclusive content. Have that link to a custom admin webpage with links to the docs and videos. Restrict access to that custom admin webpage (and pages linked from it) to L3. Restrict the videos linked to all membership levels but L3.
