Q. As the administrator for my iGrOOp, why would I want to implement Meebo™?

A.  By using Meebo™ you can communicate in real-time with prospects looking at your iGrOOp or with members/visitors logged into your iGrOOp.

If used for sales...

  • convert guests into members by being there to answer questions about membership to your iGrOOp
  • establish more credibility for your iGrOOp -- people like to know that there are real people behind a website
  • direct prospects and help them with the registration process
  • the Meebo™ "widget" will only show up for those who are NOT logged in -- this deters members from using this for support

If used for support...

  • increase activity in your iGrOOp by instantly answering "how do I..." questions for your members
  • real-time support is a tremendous value-added service that will increase the value of your iGrOOp, thus allowing you to increase the membership fees
  • the Meebo™ "widget" will only show up for those who ARE logged in -- this deters non-members from using this for support

Is it possible to set Meebo both as a sales tool and as a customer service tool? I love the function of having a "life support" And I definetly want to use the advantage of being able to talk to potential customers directly over chat.

Using meebo as a sales and customer service tool: within the homepage editor > left column, you can paste in your code for sales support as well as for member support. Removing meebo from hompepage: just turn off the option for it. The meebo sales/support widget is under the homepage editor > left column. The meebo chat room is on the main part of the homepage editor.
