Q. How can I remove references to iGrOOps from my site?A. Some customers wish to remove references and links to iGrOOps from their site in order to emphasize their own custom branding.
Here's what to do / where to go:
Use a custom domain name (see method #2): http://www.igroops.com/members/ids/docs/adminman/yourowndomain
Homepage Editor > Header/Footer/Background > Full Header Image
Homepage Editor > Header/Footer/Background > Custom Footer Text.
Homepage Editor > Header/Footer/Background > Favicon (upload new)
Homepage Editor > Text Menus and Submenus (hide links w/ refs to iGrOOps).
Homepage Editor > Center Column > change text of main content message.
Homepage Editor > Miscellaneous Settings > Custom “From” Address.
Admin Settings > Basic Information > iGrOOps Member Video Tutorials (deselect all)
Administrator Settings > Membership Information > put in a Custom “new member welcome email” (to avoid refs to iGrOOps in the default message), edit the “From Email Address”.
Administrator Settings > Applications/Permissions > Turn off the Web Video Chat.
Homepage Editor > Left column… remove the Site Search.
Settings> Membership Info > use PayPal as payment gateway (or no payment gateway)
Communication System > Admin Options > List-Serv Feature > Disable list-serv distribution
Please note, while you can virtually eliminate references to iGrOOps for your guests and members, if you have co-administrators, they will probably see iGrOOps mentioned in some of the admin-only areas.
This should pretty much do it-- if you think we missed anything, please let us know. You can send a Private Message to Ryan (must be logged in)
