Q. How do I make a quiz?A. Using the AV presentation application, you can make interactive quizzes that will both entertain and educate your members or visitors. Creating a quiz is easy and there are many options from which to choose.
Check out an example quiz!
Note: to create a quiz, you must have create permissions for the AV presentation application.
1. Create a new AV presentation. Click the "create / edit" tab, then "Create New" to create a new presentation. You can also add a quiz to existing presentations... more on that later.

2. Create quiz for the slide. Under the "Per Slide Options" you will see question, answers a-d, correct answer, correct message and incorrect message.
- Question: enter your question with punctuation. Max 250 characters.
- Answers: you must have at least answers for "A" and "B" - the other two are optional. Max 250 characters each.
- Correct Answer: choose the correct answer.
- Correct Message (optional): if you choose to enter a correct message, this message will be displayed immediately after the user submits the answer. This option provides instant feedback. Ex. "Very good! Nice Job!"
- Incorrect Message (optional): if you choose to enter an incorrect message, this message will be displayed immediately after the user submits an incorrect answer. This option provides instant feedback. Ex. "The correct answer is __________"
Note: No need to enter "correct" or "incorrect" in the messages - these words will be automatically inserted. If you do not use the correct/incorrect messages, the user will progress to the next question regardless of answer and find out results at the end of the quiz.

3. Choose layout option. Just like creating an AV presentation, you can choose the layout. In one of the sections you need to insert the quiz/results. You must choose either full or half section for the quiz - the quarter section is too small.

4. "Insert Quiz/Results in This Section". You can insert the quiz/results in just one section. Nothing else can be added in that section.

5. Add other elements (optional). If you choose a layout with more than one section, you can add photos or text to those other sections. You can also add audio to quiz slide. Note: when using audio with quizzes, the auto forward feature will be disabled.
6. Save your slide.
Creating the Results Slide
The results slide comes after all the questions, but does not have to be the last slide. To create the results slide, make sure there is no question or answers entered in the per slide options for the slide. Then, simply check the "Insert Quiz/Results in This Section" box for the section where you want the results to appear.
The results show the following:

The script will only keep track of those who have answered all the questions, or "completed the quiz". Once a user has completed the quiz, the quiz is reset for that user and they can take it again - it will be like they are another user.
Custom Message Based On Score
Want to tell your users "way to go" if they get 100%? Or perhaps, "what were you thinking?" if they get less than 60%? No problem. Using the anchor tool, you can customize your results message based on score.
1. Make sure your results slide layout has more than one section. Your results show in one section, and your custom message must show in another.
2. Insert your anchor with score range. Click on the anchor icon in your HTML editor for your custom message section.

When the window pops up, enter in your score range for the text you are about to type. Start with "0-" then another number. For this example we will use "0-50".

Click the "Insert" button. Now you can enter your custom HTML that you will want displayed for all users who score between 0 and 50 percent on the quiz. Repeat for other score ranges (ex. 51-75, 76-100). Here is what ours looks like when complete:

Help Your Quiz to Go Viral! (advanced)
If you add a third section to your results page, why not put in twitter and facebook "share it" buttons? using the "HTML" button in your section editor, enter this code (be sure to substitute in your URL):
