Tactical Interviewing and Detecting Deception

In most agencies interview and interrogation training goes to
detectives while patrol officers are left to figure things out on their own
when it comes to effectively interviewing people. This is unfortunate because a
major part of the patrol officers responsibilities includes gathering and
assessing information from people on a daily basis. To address the void, this
training was designed for patrol officers as well as new detectives to provide
them with knowledge and skills relating to conducting effective interviews
& interrogations, detecting deception, improving witness memory and
statement analysis techniques.
