I would like to thank Mark for giving his insights into Statement Analysis.  He brought up some basic concepts that form the foundation of this technique such as deceptive language is different than truthful, most people don't outright lie so we should believe what people say.  At the same time though we have to pay close attention to their words to understand what they are telling us.  Mark also provided a unique way to explain why Statement Analysis works when he said, "What a person does not want to tell us will influence what he tells us."  This is a great way to highlight that a deceptive person will usually circumvent around guilty knowledge using words to prevent the information he doensn't want to come out, from coming out.

I am looking forward to Mark's new book!!!

I have read your book "I Know You Are Lying". I even have my own autographed edition. I have found it very beneficial in dealing with the day-to-day activities in a jail setting. I am the Chairman of the Disciplinary Board at a regional jail where I have to interview and interrogate inmates for rule violationa and administer sanctions. Thank you Mark for this wonderful book. Remember that you promised me your next one. Hope to hear from you in the future.
