April 29, 2009, marked the 100th day of President Obama's term in office. While there is much to be said about what has and what has not been done, we could all be missing the bigger picture. When your perspective is to create your own economy, you have to ask yourself "who's really in charge?"
This creates personal accountability for us so that we may also ask these questions:
1). What have I done in my first 100 days to better my economy this year?
2). What does my stimulus plan look like?
3). Do I even have a plan?
The answers to these questions may indicate that you are looking for something far worse than a government bailout.
*You Are Relying On Your Excuses!*
If you are basing your economy on what the President is doing then you are no different than people who expect handouts. This mentality is convenient because it affords you the opportunity to assign the blame. If he does badly you are excused.
*Friends, there is nothing more un-American than not trying!*
We are quick to anoint people as socialist and talk about how that's not American, but what about those who complain with no solutions? Even if they had a solution, you would have to ask the questions, "Is this how you govern yourself?", and "How is it working for you?". (You would be shocked at the response.)

For us who are genuinely American citizens, ask yourself is your stimulus plan working for you as an American, or against you? While your citizenship may qualify you as an American, does your work plan do the same? What about your work ethic? Does your first 100 days reflect the spirit on which this country was built (hard work, determination, creativity, innovation, etc.,)? If it doesn't then, what you are doing is not working for (pro) you as an American, it is working against you! In other words, your actions are anti-American.
Somehow we have taken a liking to being "Blame Broadcasters" on the "Pass the Buck" show of life. We love projecting blame. Now please understand, there is a difference between being informed and governing your own economy based on what is happening around the world, and just simply sitting back, not trying, and pointing fingers. I co-host a wonderful radio show with my partners where we utilize the platform to educate, inform, impact, and empower those who are learning how to create their own economy or build it bigger and better! When I say blame broadcasters, I'm talking about those who would rather sit sideline, than get in the game. This type of activity must be addressed and dealt with every time we run into these people. Maybe their thing isn't politics, maybe it is business period! They group all business people together and complain, complain, complain! Why? They are too lazy to get the information it takes to get their own businesses off the ground. So they blame you and I because we do know how, but we will not do their work for them. Now that's anti-American activity!
Do a self evaluation on your first 100 days. Could this country survive on how you manage your economy? Could we bounce back off your work ethic? Let's say you were in charge, where would America be...?
(This has been an Empower-moment.)
