The Reality of the Gospel of Christ: Touching Lives Through SBM

SBM is now entering our 8th year in ministry, proclaiming the biblical truth about homosexuality and reaching the homosexual for Jesus Christ. Yet, what does "reaching the homosexual for Jesus Christ" really mean?
It's quite simple. It's sharing the life changing, soul saving gospel of Christ with everyone, but especially men and women involved in the sin of homosexuality.
Why? Why "target" them some ask? Because I was once there -- and it was the gospel of Jesus Christ that set me free over 16 years ago. And guess what? Through SBM sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ -- it has set many other homosexual individuals free as well. Even many individuals who weren't struggling with homosexuality accepted Christ and were born again.
WOW! That's the amazing "good news" of the gospel of Jesus Christ: it changes lives. In fact, not does it only changes lives, but also hearts, minds and souls.
One of the very first churches I ever preached at was in Vermont back in 2000. A heartbroken mother shared how her son announced he was "gay" and it destroyed her. After the service, she asked if we could pray for her son and she took a copy of one of my Cd's to give him.
Years went by, and one day, I received a call from her son. Guess what? He listened to the Cd and turned his life and SIN over to Christ. Today, he is happily married to his beautiful wife -- both whom I had the pleasure to meet in person.
One story just from the first church I ever shared at.
Do I take the credit for what happened? ABSOLUETLY NOT. I DIDN'T CHANGE A THING -- GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT DID.
Fast forward to eight years later, last week.
The souls that have come to Christ, the lives that have been changed only PROVE that God is STILL ALIVE and His Word NEVER, EVER RETURNS VOID!
Irene and I filmed a television show at CBS in Hollywood back in January, which aired in March of this past year. A homosexual individual STRUGGLING with his feelings called the ministry, received this ministry's tract "I Was Gay" -- and then called me last week and shared.
This wonderful individual was touched by the Lord in such a beautiful way. He poured his heart out and wants to be set free by Christ and have a life, in his words, "not like the one I have today."
We sent him a lot of resources, a beautiful Bible with his name inscribed in it, passages outlined for him on salvation and how to be "born again." Please keep him in your prayers -- the Lord knows who he is.
Hundreds of thousands of the "I Was Gay" tract have been distributed all around the world by people who truly care for homosexual individuals, trapped in sin. They don't HATE them. If they did -- they would do absolutely NOTHING AT ALL.
You see, we at SBM get the benefit of answering ALL of the mail and calls that come in from those tracts, because this ministry's telephone number is on the back of it. Yes, there are a lot of angry homosexuals (they're not angry at us -- but angry at GOD) Yet these individuals hear God's Word and THE TRUTH about their SIN -- and now they can never say "no one ever told me."
The ministry of SBM is making a major difference in the lives of people all around the world, a difference that literally means eternity.
PLEASE... continue to pray for the ministry of SBM and the souls of men and women around the world. Souls are being changed by God's Word -- and we may never know really how much of a difference was made until we get to glory -- because of faithful, prayerful SBM Ministry partners -- just like YOU.

SBM's Parents Group Spring Conference -- "Fantastic!"

That was just one of the comments made about SBM's "TheParentsGroup.com's First Annual Spring Conference 2008." This was by far, SBM's best conference yet!
People from all over the country -- as far away as California -- attended the weekend event which took place in Shelton, Connecticut, May 2 - May 4, 2008.
The weekend's theme: "A Time to Grow" -- and we believe people did just that.
Friday night, the weekend started with a reception for all guests. Saturday's full day conference followed, along with TPG's Banquet and Awards Dinner that night.
Several former homosexual individuals shared their testimonies - two individuals who are now married (one has a beautiful baby!) The third is a senior citizen who chose to remain single.
Sunday, a church service was held at the event, followed by a farewell luncheon.
The entire weekend was recorded and the conference will be available on audio Cd's sometime within the next two weeks. Orders can be placed by calling 1-800-832-3623.
