Trader Sentiment and the NYSE TICK (TradingEveryDay)

A NYSE tick chart is set up with a number of ticks, along with a line in the middle representing zero. When the tick is higher than zero, we know that more stocks are trading at their offer price than their bid. This means that traders want to buy into these market conditions, and they are willing to pay the market price to buy in, signifying strength in the market.
